Every winter in London, I would find myself feeling constantly rundown and tired, ultimately resulting in at least four colds in as little as 4 months... I’d taken all the usual suspects to help my body fight off the viruses but nothing seemed to work.

One day, when coming down with something and I had an important event coming up that I really didn’t want to miss, I decided enough was enough. I thought there must be something I can do to speed up my recovery and kick the cold before it got started. So, I started experimenting in my kitchen by combing natural plants like ginger and lemon whilst loading up on vitamins. To my amazement I found it really worked. So, I started looking into the science and found a raft of clinical evidence on immune friendly vitamins, and minerals.

For me, the clincher was dose! You'd have to take the average vitamin tablet for 9 months a year to correct a deficiency, let alone replenish nutrient levels to optimal health. I wanted to be able to have an impact on my immune system immediately from the first sign of illness. I’ve been in medicine for 17 years now, working across a range of specialities including elderly care, endocrinology, paediatrics, psychiatry, general surgery, urology, vascular surgery, and rehabilitation medicine.
