VITAMIN C DRINKS - RECIPE: THE SUNSHINE SOUR

Vitamin C Drink
We all know the consequences of a vitamin C deficiency, and luckily scurvy isn't something most of us need to worry about. Vitamin C deficiencies have also been linked to an impaired immune system and increased susceptibility to infections, but it's not just about preventing deficiency - even low amounts of vitamin C can greatly reduce the capacity of the immune system to effectively fight off infections and diseases. That's why we're all about high doses; because they're the best way to make sure your body always has what it needs to function at its best!

Ingredients

  • 2 blood oranges
  • ½ grapefruit squeezed
  • 10-12 strawberries
  • 1 large handful of blueberries
  • 1 cup of chilled water

The 'Sunshine Sour' is obviously a great source of vitamin C, but if you're looking for that extra vitamin C hit, try adding a sachet of our High Dose Immunity Drink to the recipe! We can confirm that our best-selling Elderberry & Blackcurrant works great with the berries in this recipe, so you'll be getting 1500mg vitamin C, 1200IU vitamin D, 25mg zinc, and over 1000mg of plant micronutrients in one drink - and that's before you even add the fruits themselves!
